Frequently asked questions
What time does the run start?
8:30AM, but we recommend showing up closer to 8:00. This gives you time to take care of parking, find any friends, and get some good before pictures.
When and where can I get my shirt?
We recommend you pick up your shirt the day before the race, Saturday, June 9th. We will be out at Vienna Nursing & Rehab’s gym from 12:00PM to 4:00PM. The gym is located at 830 S. Ham Ln., Lodi, 95242. If you are unable to come on Saturday, a registration table will open before the run on Sunday at 7:30AM
When is the deadline for signups?
To guarantee shirts, the deadline for sign ups is Sunday, June 3rd. You may sign up after this date, but there will b no guarantee of a shirt, or shirt size. We would advise you to bring a change of clothing, and if late signing up, bring your own shirt for the run.
Are there special group discounts?
Of course. For groups of adults, Color Me Crazy has team discount rates. Part of the goal of this race is to keep kids active, so we want to make this as accessible as possible, while still raising funds for a good cause. If your part of a school running club, boy/girl scout troop, or some other type of children centered organization, please email email@example.com for special children team discounts.
Is it harmful if you inhale it?
Although all the materials are food grade we do not recommend inhaling large quantities of color powder. Anyone who has asthma, is allergic to any of the ingredients or has any respiratory issues should exercise caution when participating in color powder events. It should also always be used in well ventilated outdoor space.
Does Color Powder Stain Clothing?
Our color powder washes out of most clothing. However, it can stain some materials. 100% cotton clothing is recommended and typical machine washing with stain remover, removes the stains. We recommend removing excess powder from clothing before washing and/or applying water.
Does Color Powder Stain Skin or Hair?
Just as with clothing we recommend shaking off all excess powder before exposing to water. Normal soap and water should remove color powder from skin and hair. Some color does tend to linger for a few days especially on blonde hair. If you are worried about staining, we recommend applying a moisturizer to skin and coating your hair with a small amount of coconut or olive oil before the event.
Is Color Powder Safe?
Safety is our main priority! Our colors are made with high quality cornstarch and food dyes. All materials are 100% FD&C and/or D&C grade and approved by the US FDA. However our product is not designed for consumption. If you would like a copy of the Safety Data Sheets please contact us at 888-252-6567 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
